How to write a Kuwaiti address

With a rich cultural heritage, it's no wonder that people love to live in and visit Kuwait. You can check out their souqs (traditional markets) to get an authentic shopping experience or try some authentic Kuwaiti food. You can visit some of their famous architecture, like the Kuwait Towers or the entirety of Failaka Island. But how do you address a letter to Kuwait? As you browse the many traditional handicrafts, look at our Kuwaiti address examples here and try our suite of address validation tools for addresses in Kuwait below.

Simply enter an address to format, standardize, and validate it faster than you can say “Yalla.” Address formatting in Kuwait isn't too hard and can be written out as follows:

  1. Addressee line - The recipient's full name, using appropriate titles for the region.
  2. Buildling and sub-building - This is the building and subbuilding without any separating punctuation.
  3. Street name and building number - The street and the building name together without any separating punctuation.
  4. Dependent locality - Similar to a city, district, or local area.
  5. Postal code and country - In Kuwait, the postal code goes on the same line as the country.

What our customers are saying

A woman in blue activewear seated and posing, and a man in a light green shirt and yellow shorts jumping beside her, both in a peach-colored room.
We evaluated quite a few providers, and felt that Smarty was the right partner for us, given their user-friendly approach and robust support. It checked all of our boxes.
